Cookie Policy

Last updated

This policy explains what cookies and similar technologies this website uses. The short version: this site currently sets no analytics cookies and no advertising cookies, and it loads no third-party tracking scripts. What follows explains what is used, what is not, and how to control cookies in your browser.

  1. 1 What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store, so that it can recognise your browser on a later visit. Similar technologies, including local storage and session storage, do much the same thing. Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, we may only set cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to work without asking you first. Everything else requires your consent, given freely and in advance, and it must be as easy to refuse as to accept.

  2. 2 Strictly necessary cookies

These are the only storage this site uses without asking. They cannot be switched off, because the site cannot function correctly without them, and they are exempt from the consent requirement.

    • Security and session integrity: short-lived storage used to protect forms against abuse and to keep a single visit consistent. It does not identify you.
    • Client portal sign-in: on our separate client portal at clients.digitaldone.co.uk, a session cookie that keeps you signed in while you use it. It is strictly necessary, since without it the portal cannot tell one page request from another, and it is deleted when you sign out or close the tab. It is not set on this website and it is never used for measurement.
  3. 3 Analytics cookies

None are currently set. This site loads no analytics platform, so there is no measurement of your visit beyond the standard server logs described in our privacy policy. If we do add analytics, it will stay off until you turn it on, this policy will name the provider and the cookies it sets, we will tell you what we are measuring, and we will give you a way to accept or refuse it before anything is set.

  4. 4 Advertising and marketing cookies

None are set, and we do not currently intend to set any. This site carries no advertising pixels, no conversion tracking, no social media tracking scripts and no cross-site identifiers. If you have arrived here from an advertisement, nothing on this page reports back to the platform that sent you.

  5. 5 Third-party content

We do not embed third-party video players, chat widgets, maps or social feeds on this site, all of which typically set cookies of their own before you interact with them. Our social media links are ordinary links: following one takes you to that platform, where that platform’s own cookies and privacy policy apply, but nothing is set while you remain on our site. Our web fonts, stylesheets, scripts and images are served from our own content delivery network, operated by Bunny.net, which receives the request for each file and the requesting IP address. This is strictly necessary to deliver the page, and it sets no cookie.

  6. 6 How to control cookies

Because this site sets nothing beyond the strictly necessary storage described above, there is nothing to opt out of and no preferences to manage. You can still control cookies in your browser at any time: every major browser lets you block or delete cookies for individual sites or for all sites, and you can normally reach these options from its privacy or security settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of this site working as intended, and blocking the rest will not affect it at all, because there is nothing else running. If we ever add a non-essential cookie, we will ask for your consent before setting it, and refusing will be as easy as accepting.

  7. 7 Changes to this policy

If we add any cookie beyond those described above, we will update this policy, name the cookie and its purpose, and obtain your consent before setting it. We will not add a non-essential cookie and rely on this policy alone as notice. This policy was last updated on 2 September 2026.
